Just curious if I should mix the Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant with my Stone Crop Gel Wash, or use it separately after? I've tried both and I'm wondering if there is a difference.
You can use the Dermafoliant Daily or 2-3 times a week depending on your preference!
A: Dear Christina,
Since the Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant does require a combination of moisture to activate the lactic acid, using water, toner or your cleanser is completely based on your preference. Since the cleanser is a bit thicker than water, the Dermfoliant becomes less abrasive - which may feel better for some if you plan to use it everyday and/or have sensitive skin. If you prefer a more abrasive exfoliation, mix it with either your toner or water. Also, if you have a face full of heavy makeup, I suggest washing with the cleanser first to remove the makeup and then following with the Dermafoliant mixed with either cleanser, water or toner. The run from the makeup could dilute the Dermafoliant too much and keep your skin from getting a thorough exfoliation. Happy Cleansing!
