I’ve always had skin problems growing up, and sometimes it feels like the more I put on my face to try and solve the problem, the worse it gets.
I experience a lot of dry skin that comes and goes with the seasons. My face would get so dried out in the peak of winter and summer that it would flake around my nose. This “seasonal dryness” seems to be getting worse year after year in spite of all types of moisturizers and creams I’ve tried applying to my face. Of course, I have uneven skin tone, too -- my face flushes with rage whenever I think of all the money and time I’ve wasted over the years trying to control my skin! I won’t even get into the forest of wrinkles or perpetual puffiness, because I don’t want this to turn into a 35-page dissertation about my skin woes and, I’m pretty sure you don’t either.
I mean seriously, who has that kind of time?

I was fed up.
I mentioned my recurring skin troubles to a very dear friend of mine, Marie. I figured I should check out the spa she goes to. Since she’s THE designated skincare expert in our circle of friends, I told her I’ll go with whatever she says.
“The spa has something for everyone, trust me!” she said. “I’ve been using the products they sell there for years.”
She stressed that a lot of the skincare products you can get at the store, even the more expensive brands, are lined to the top with harmful chemicals like triclosan, formaldehyde, parabens, and tar. Many of these toxic ingredients have been linked to cancer. Others can cause irritation, and some can even disrupt your hormones to alter your reproduction.
These skincare products might work to moisturize your skin and repair damage initially, she added, but they’ll eventually lead to a whole bunch of health problems that might become hard to identify.
I wish I could show you my friend Marie’s vanity display -- it’s absolutely STOCKED with Eminence Organics products. If Marie the skincare connoisseur is all-in on Eminence Organics, they must work really well! But more importantly, their products must be clean, effective, and safe.
Needless to say, I’m very excited to give their products a try.
A Step Above Organic
Eminence Organics products are rooted in natural, organic and Biodynamic ingredients that aren’t just great for your skin, but are also good for your health.
But what is Biodynamic anyway?
It’s a step up from organic farming. Biodynamic farming methods not only enhance the quality of the agricultural ingredients used in Eminence Organics products, but also greatly reduce their environmental impact. On Biodynamic farms, only natural medicinal herbs and mineral composts are used to enhance the soil. This ensures that the ingredients grown are completely free from chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
What this means for your skin is pure and potent ingredients that contain even higher levels of vitamins, nutrients, and active compounds. In other words: It’s organic, amplified.
In fact, studies have shown that Biodynamic ingredients on average contain 30% more antioxidants and 47% more vitamin C.
Eminence Organics Bamboo Firming Fluid
I had the opportunity to try out several Eminence Organics products. My favorite among them was definitely their Bamboo Firming Fluid. It’s liquid gold!
The Bamboo Firming Fluid strengthens your skin and helps balance its pH. It also delays the visible signs of aging and helps fight free radicals to immediately lift, tighten and firm your skin with the help of:
The first thing I checked was the ingredient label, and everything is either from fruit extracts, plant oils, or other organic, Biodynamic sources.
It’s super easy to use, too. I just wash my face, towel dry, then spread a thin layer of the Firming Fluid over my face. The Firming Fluid goes on soooo smoothly and carries a subtle but intoxicating fragrance. My Eminence regimen is quickly becoming one of my favorite ways to destress after a long workday while the product does its magic on my skin.
Eminence Organics Rosehip Triple C+E Firming Oil
The next product I was fortunate enough to try was their Rosehip Triple C+E Firming Oil. It’s rich in vitamin C, E, beta-carotene, and essential fatty acids, which help improve your skin’s moisture, tone, texture and correct the look of pigmentation.
This powerful but natural formula is infused with:
Rosemary leaf extract
To use, you apply a thin layer -- just two to three drops -- to your face and neck with circular motions once or twice daily. It goes on light enough that you can top it off with your favorite moisturizer for an extra boost of hydration when needed.
Eminence Organics Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser
Last but certainly not least, I also tried out their Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser -- a clarifying cream-gel cleanser that was formulated to help people with oily and problem skin - me, basically. It works to gently clean out your pores while soothing your skin to reduce the signs of acne and breakouts without drying it out.
This indulgent cleanser contains BioComplex, which is a booster of antioxidants, vitamins, Coenzyme Q10, and Alpha Lipoic Acid that helps improve the appearance of skin.
Its other key ingredients include:
Sweet almond milk
Tea tree oil
Willow bark extract
My Secret Stash for Beautiful Skin
The spa Marie took me to was an undeniably high-end spa that’s in a prime location, staffed with the most knowledgeable and helpful professionals, and they only carry the best-of-the-best in skincare products -- like Eminence Organics.
While I certainly LOVED the spa experience, replenishing my favorite oils and cleansers does not require a trip to the spa.
